The entire Academic Community of the Doctor of Law Program congratulates the students of the Doctoral Program in Law (Moh. Indra Bangsawan & Trias Hernanda) who have been declared accepted as recipients of funding for the doctoral dissertation research in 2022 organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
Referring to Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System Article 20 Paragraph (2) which states that Universities are obliged to provide Education, Research and Community Service. Research in universities is directed at developing science and technology, as well as improving the welfare of the community and the competitiveness of the nation as described in Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Education. Article 45 and 46. The research as referred to is carried out by the academic community and carried out on the basis of competence and competition. Research results must be disseminated through seminars, publications, and/or patents.
Efforts to increase research productivity and its consequences by publishing scientific papers in higher education is the provision of research assistance for postgraduate students. One of the methods chosen is to provide research funding support in postgraduate programs, one of which is Doctoral Dissertation Research (PDD).
Doctoral Dissertation Research Objectives (PDD) are: 1). Produce doctoral graduates who are able to discover or develop new scientific theories/conceptions/ideas, contribute to the development, and practice of science and/or technology that pays attention to and apply humanities values in their fields of expertise, by producing scientific research based on scientific methodologies, logical, critical, systematic, and creative thinking, or producing applied doctoral graduates who are able to discover, create, and make new contributions to the development and practice of science and/or or technology that pays attention to and applies humanities values in their field of expertise, by producing design works, prototypes, or technological innovations that add value or can be used for problem solving based on logical, critical, creative, and wise thinking; 2). Increase the number and quality of scientific publications at the international level; and 3). Accelerate the completion of doctoral studies so as to increase the number and competence of doctoral program graduates. (Indra/Admin).
